Ski resorts

One AI mistake is enough to lose a family for the whole season.

Beginner area, opening dates, snow cover, passes: we check what the 6 major AIs answer about your resort, in 6 languages. We fix what is wrong before opening, we get your resort cited where it is not, and we measure the citations gained through your 14 weeks. After the end of October, it is for next year.

After the end of October, it is for next year: fixes take weeks to propagate into AI answers.

The problem, in numbers

July 2026

On 22 July 2026 Google switched on AI Overviews and AI Mode in France. Winter 2026/27 is the first one your guests will plan inside those answers, in French.

skier-days come from international visitors: British (12%), Belgian (6%), Dutch (5%). They ask AI in their own language, and the answer is not the same as the French one. We test your 40 questions in all 6 languages and fix what differs.

13.7%

of cited sources are shared between Google AI Overviews and AI Mode. In other words: being well cited in one does not cite you in the other. We measure and work on both.

The season is decided before the snow

  1. June

Winter bookings start, earlier every year.

  2. Early October

Forecast occupancy already ahead: +6% bookings versus the previous year.

  3. New Year

The week was already fully sold by early October 2025: "there is nothing left to sell" (G2A).

  4. Opening

What the AIs answered in autumn has already weighed on firm bookings. Fix now, not in December.

What we do

01

Check

40 questions, 6 languages, across the 6 major AIs, with the word-for-word answer.

02

Fix

The ski sources: France Montagnes, Wikipedia, directories, snow data, Google profile.

03

Impact

Weekly re-tests all season: errors fixed, citations and mentions gained, before and after, engine by engine.

When AI gets it wrong, nobody warns you

Air Canada's chatbot invented a fare policy that did not exist; in February 2024 a Canadian tribunal ordered the airline to compensate the customer. A Journal of Travel Research study documents how incorrect ChatGPT answers change travellers' decisions. Opening dates, lifts, beginner areas, snow cover: these are your numbers. We check what the 6 engines do with them, in 6 languages, every week of the season.

Fixing errors is not enough: you have to be cited

A correct answer about your resort is worth nothing if the AI never names it. We work on both: what is wrong, and what is missing.

Share of voice

How often your resort is named against competing resorts, on the same questions.

Cited sources

Which sites the AI cites instead of you. That is where we go to take your place.

Before and after

Every fix is tracked: mentions and citations gained, engine by engine, week after week.

The proof

The resort dashboard

An anonymised sample of a resort’s tracking board: what the 6 AIs answer word for word, in each language, with the date; who gets cited instead of you; and what changed after each fix.

Straight questions, honest answers

What do ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Mode already answer about my resort?

Nobody knows without testing: answers change by assistant, language and date. That is exactly what the audit measures, with the same questions asked in 6 languages and dated screenshots.

Why check in 6 languages?

About a third of skier-days come from abroad. A Dutch visitor asks in Dutch and can get a different answer, sometimes a wrong one, from the answer given in French.

How fast do we see an effect?

Honestly: nobody controls the AI models. What you control are the sources they read: your site, your structured data, your listings. We fix, then re-measure before and during the season.

Does it replace my SEO?

No, it completes it. When an AI Overview shows, clicks drop (down to minus 23.1% for highly exposed sites per Ahrefs). The fight moves: it is no longer just being clicked, it is being cited correctly inside the answer.
